New for 2019 is our Ambi Safety Selector that is part of our new Builder Series. The Builder Series will offer a vast number of 2A Armament components that have been made with the AR builder in mind. Not only does the Builder Series offer extremely high quality products, but it also offers very competitive pricing.

This Ambidextrous safety is made from USA Sourced 6061-T6 aluminum and features a Titanium core. It has one short lever and one standard lever, that are interchangeable for user preference. The levers are machined with lightening cuts that take out material, where it is not needed for strength. There are large scalloped cuts on the face of each lever, as well as machined ledges in the radius's of each lever. This enhances the users purchase on the safety lever for easy manipulation. The selector functions smoothly and has a tactile stop at both the safe and fire positions.

2 of 5 Not what I expected June 19, 2019
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Dallastown, PA United States
The material and concept are great. Lightweight Titanium core with Aluminum levers. The issue is when using it in the 60 degree setting the lever is not fully on safe as it is with all other safeties in the industry, however it is fully on fire when placed in the fire position. Since this is  opposite of all other safeties, it makes it difficult to accept. If you only owned one AR this may not be an issue, but if you own multiple AR's with short throw safeties, don't expect this to be the same. The only way I would recommend using this is in the 90 degree throw which defeats the purpose of the 60 degree short throw. I contacted 2A and expressed my concerns and recommended that they disclose this info since it is not like other safeties in the industry, however they have not updated their description to reflect this. The levers are fairly small but easy to use but this safety is not as smooth as my Seekins or Armalite safeties. It took over 7 weeks to arrive.
